PlugO is a smart and fully automated power bank rental service.

The PlugO app enables users to locate and rent power banks for their charging needs on the move. This microservices based app needed to be deployed on cloud and containerized. PlugO also wanted their entire CI and CD pipeline built from scratch.

The main challenges included - very short deliverable timelines given by the client, and - achieving a balance between performance and cost optimization.

Within 20 days, Technogise deployed the PlugO app on AWS ECS, containerised services with Docker and built CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins. We setup DevOps practices like auto-deployments on test environment and build promotion thereby shortening feedback time and expediting delivery process. We also built multiple dashboards using AWS Cloudwatch to monitor and analyze key performance indicators for the app, creating a robust feedback loop for the system. While designing the cloud infrastructure, we implemented a mix of user managed clusters and fully managed services to ensure performance and cost optimization. In phase 2, we've planned further automation, logs analytics, configuring application gateway for APIs and end-to-end testing mechanisms for gauging health of the system.

Technogise team setup the entire CI and CD pipeline for our microservices based application in less than 3 weeks. We were strongly focused on massive scalability and needed a highly secure and robust environment. Technogise quickly understood our requirements and did the entire setup on AWS. They helped us get our staging environment up and running pretty fast, which helped us plan the product launch. They are highly collaborative and have strong knowledge in DevOps.
